STEREOTYPE
STEREOTYPE
A
stereotype is an idea that has a group of people, about the qualities,
characteristics or behaviors of another group of people. It can also be defined
as an opinion that generalizes the way in which other people are. The term is
often used in a negative sense, stereotypes being considered as illogical
beliefs that limit creativity and can only be changed through education. Examples. "Blue should be for children,
and pink should be for girls," "Girls should play with dolls,
children should play with carts," "Women should be thin"
I want your definition of stereotypes.

Have you ever stereotyped somebody else?
I think stereotypes are when we categorize other people for certain ways of being. We find them anywhere, one of the most common is to confuse Muslims with terrorists, when they are not, the racial stereotype when we say that blacks are exclavos and we exclude them, another common is to say that women are bad drivers.
