A stereotype is to have a misconception of someone or
a social group. Believing that these people tend to behave in a specific way
with pre-established attitudes and beliefs having negative perceptions.
Talking about stereotypes: Ñengosos By: Saúl Veintimilla A ñengoso is a person who likes dancing and singing reggaeton, this is their lifestyle. They are identified with Ñengo Flow, a Puerto Rican hip hop and reggaeton singer, creator of the RealG4Life movement that means 'Real Gangster For Life'. People think they are a type of gansters just for being low class people and consume drugs but I think not all of them are dangerous. In our society are bad cataloged, they don´t like to study or be someone in their lifes, they only think in get things easily. All the reggaeton listeners are not ñengosos, we can diferenciate by their clothes. This urban tribe wear big t-shirts and baggy jeans.
STEREOTYPE A stereotype is an idea that has a group of people, about the qualities, characteristics or behaviors of another group of people. It can also be defined as an opinion that generalizes the way in which other people are. The term is often used in a negative sense, stereotypes being considered as illogical beliefs that limit creativity and can only be changed through education. Examples. "Blue should be for children, and pink should be for girls," "Girls should play with dolls, children should play with carts," "Women should be thin"
A stereotype is a preconceived idea, a criterion or a preliminary reasoning about someone or something. People in their relationships establish ideas about others. Stereotypes increase in many occasions in a wrong way, the prejudices and convictions we have about subjects, objects, institutions, cultures and even about ourselves and our own esteem.
